A recent report says that Mt. Kilimanjaro shouldn't be considered the poster child for global warming because its shrinking ice is more about less snowfall & ice that's melting because of solar radiation. This is a big "ah-ha" moment for global warming critics - unless they actually read the report.

Melting ice exposes land or water, BOTH of which reflect less solar radiation than ice. That reinforces rising temperatures, which melt more ice.
